concert tickets

I have been spending the last week planning for the rest of my summer. This year my plan is to see as many concerts as possible while traveling the country on my road bike. I have been using all of my free time these past two years of college riding. Last summer my trip was only about five hundred miles around the state. This year i am shooting for anywhere from fifteen hundred to three thousand miles total for my journey. Basically i have been finding concerts and then planning out my route based on their date and locations. I want to get to the town where each concert is held in the morning of the show. Then I will ride around town and see the sights until it is time to set up my campsite. Then when the time comes I will go to the show. On nights when I don't have a concert to go to I will either find a campsite to crash at or I will just set up in a park somewhere. Right now I have all of my bike stuff ready I just have to buy my concert tickets. Most of the shows that I will be seeing are small and don't cost much to get in. I do plan on seeing at least one big show where the tickets will be a little bit more expensive. This decision is just sort of a flip of the coin right now because both the Kenny Chesney tickets and the Tom Petty tickets will complete my route, just in two different directions. For the next week I will spend each day getting my body ready for a trip like this. It will be anything but easy and I think that is why it is going to be so much more rewarding than just driving around to all of these shows. The time spent on the bike is going to work me harder than I ever have been and won't leave much room for personal destruction. I have planned the trip quite liberally so I have plenty of time to see some extra stuff along the way if I happen to get ahead of schedule at any point. This is going to be an amazing summer.
