Free games

I think that this week has been my longest break from the sun in my entire life. During finals week I tried my best to use various stress reduction techniques to relax a little bit. I went through my whole bit with yoga routines, meditation, and even going for quick bike rides, even though I didn't have much time to do either one. None of them seemed to be working. So what did I do? I tried something different. I went on to one of the major search engine web sites and found some free games that I could play right over the web. What I found were some pretty cool games and lots of fun side conversations. I could only do it in moderation for the finals week because I had a lot of responsibilities to take care of and not a lot of time to screw around. So I only played in on my breaks when I could find a few minutes to try and wind down some of my pent up stress. When finals week ended I had a whole week off from both work and school before I started my internship. Without even thinking about it, more out of habit I guess, I began to play. Before I knew it I had used up all of monday. Then I kept playing and switching games all day on tuesday. Then came wednesday and I played only online dominoes till I needed some pizza and I ate it while I played. Finally I came down to saturday and realized that I needed to get some supplies for this week's work. I walked outside at around five in the afternoon and when the sun hit me I swear I felt, and must have looked, like the living dead. I realized then that I had not gone outside of my apartment since finals week and that I would never do that again. Now I am not saying I will never play any of those free games again, because I still do, but watch out because they can be really addicting in the right hands.
